The scarcity of foreign exchange in the country has led many banks to reduce their international spending limit.

Customers were notified of the latest international spending limit via email and some of these banks totally stopped the use of their naira MasterCard to perform international transaction.

Access bank, which is one of the best commercial banks in Nigeria have reduced their international spending limit to $20 monthly. This means that you cannot spend more than $20 monthly from the naira MasterCard.
