My transaction is successful but the beneficiary has not received the amount yet
Surprisingly, this is very common issue with most banks, however it is something that is easily resolved in little time.
If you transferred money to another account and the use is yet to receive it even though you have been debited, it can be quite frustrating and confusing at the same time.
However, there are ways in which you can get this resolved quickly and also know if your transaction actually went through or not.
In this post, I am going to be writing about some of the things you can do if your beneficiary has not yet received the money you sent.

Let’s get into it then…
Check Account balance
If your beneficiary is yet to receive the money you sent, you should check your bank account balance in order to make sure you have been debited.
You should check your account balance history and confirm if the transaction went through. In some case the money may have been reversed back to your account.
You should also ask the beneficiary to check his/her account balance, even if they are yet to receive SMS/email alert. This is because sometimes, you might receive the money without getting the corresponding alert, probably due to network issues.
Check bank statement/transaction history
You may also have to check your transaction history to see if the money you sent has gone through. If it doesn’t display on your transaction history, then it didn’t go through.
Contact bank customer care
If you have waited for a period of 24 hours without being able to confirm the transfer, then you should contact your bank’s customer care and provide details of the transaction and they will let you know what to do.
Visit bank branch
As a last resort, you can visit the nearest bank branch and make a complaint with the customer service department. Your issue will be resolved quickly.
