Visit on your phone
Click on Sign Up
Select your country
Input your phone number and enter the verification code sent to the phone number.
Select the account type of your choice (Personal or Business account).
Enter your personal details such as name, email address, and password to create an account.
Verify your email address by clicking on the link sent to your mail.

How To Verify PayPal Account

Below are steps on how to verify your account with PayPal

Log in to your account
Click on Wallet and select link card or bank
Select the card type and input all the necessary information.
Enter the verification code sent to you to confirm the bank card.

List of Nigerian Bank Cards That Work with PayPal

PayPal only works with Mastercard or Visa card which means verve card is not accepted. Most Nigerian banks offer both cards to their customers when requested. However, if you have a Mastercard or Visa card from any Nigerian bank but PayPal still rejects your card then please contact your bank and report the issues.

Nevertheless, it is important to know that you need to have a minimum of $2 in your account because PayPal will charge your card for the verification process. Below are some popular Nigerian bank cards that can be linked to a PayPal account.

How To Link Nigerian Bank Card To Your PayPal Account

Below are the steps on how to add a Nigerian bank card to a PayPal account.

Log in to your PayPal account
Click on Add card and you will be redirected to a new page where you can add your card details and select your card type.
After inputting your card details, click on Link Card. Note: You will be deducted $1.95 from your account by PayPal to verify if you are the owner of the account. however, the funds would be credited back to your account after 24 hours.
A verification code will be sent to you after the fund is debited from your account
Copy the code then go back to your PayPal account and select confirm my debit or credit card.
Input or paste the verification code and click on confirm card


Can I use a Nigerian card on PayPal?

Yes, you can link your Nigerian card to your PayPal account. however, PayPal only works with Visa and Mastercard which means it would not accept a verse card.

Does PayPal accept Zenith cards?

PayPal only accepts Zenith bank visa cards and Mastercard.

Why is PayPal rejecting my card?
