  1. If after dialing the USSD code *894#, you get a connection error message or invalid MMI code, then this is a network issue, which can be from your service provider or from first bank. All you have to do is check if you have service on your phone and try again, otherwise you will have to try at a later time.
  2. When using the first bank USSD, you must follow the prompts and reply within 20 secs, otherwise you will receive an error message/invalid MMI and will have to start again.
  3. If you are unable to transfer above 20,000 naira, then you will need to input your ATM card details and try again.
