What is FORM A?
It is an application form designed by the central bank of Nigeria to pay for service transactions (invisible trade) that allows customers to make payment for services such as school fees, technical fees, dividends, airline tickets, loans repayment, judgement debt, personal home remittance, PTA, BTA etc.
The process in of FORM A is different in all banks, while some banks are quick to process it, other banks can take weeks, even months to process.

Fastest banks for Form A?
First bank
Established in 1894, First Bank of Nigeria Limited (“FirstBank”) is the preeminent bank in West Africa, Nigeria’s number one bank brand, and the country’s top financial services solutions provider.
First bank Form A has been known to take a period of 3 weeks and above to process. So make sure that you have enough time.
They also offer a very good rate.
GTbank
Guaranty Trust Bank plc was established in 1990 as a limited liability company with a license to provide commercial and other banking services to Nigerians. Since its inception in February 1991, the bank has evolved to become one of Nigeria’s most renowned and service-oriented institutions.
GTbank form A is very fast and usually takes about 3 days and above to process, although some people have reported different.
You should know that this process can be especially faster if you have someone inside the bank.
GTbank also offer a very good rate.
Access bank
Access Bank today is the largest bank in Nigeria and Africa’s leading bank by customer base. It is a full service commercial bank operating through a network of more than 600 branches and service outlets, spanning three continents, 12 countries and 36 million customers.
Access bank Form A usually takes 3 days and above to process, and as I said in the above, it can be different for some people.
They will also offer you a fairly good rate.
Stanbic ibtc
Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC was formed by the merger of Stanbic Bank Nigeria Limited and IBTC Chartered Bank Plc.
They provide current, savings, and domiciliary accounts, as well as personal loans, vehicle and asset finance, MasterCard debit cards, Visa credit cards, house loans, internet banking, and the award-winning *909# MobileMoney.
Stanbic Ibtc form A is usually processed in a period of 2 weeks and above, and they offer a very attractive rate.
Keystone bank
Keystone Bank is a full service commercial bank currently owned by Sigma Golf River Bank Consortium after being acquired from the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) in 2017. It was granted banking license on August 5, 2011, by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Keystone bank form A can be processed within a period of 1 week and above.
United bank for Africa (UBA)
UBA is one of the largest financial services groups on the African continent. The bank provides corporate, commercial, SME, consumer and personal (retail) banking services to more than 25 million customers, served through diverse channels: over 1,000 business offices and customer touch points (2,669 ATMs, 87,223 PoS, robust online banking and mobile banking, social media etc.).
The UBA form A can take a period of 4 days and above to process. Although a few people have said it took them significantly longer.
Sterling bank
Sterling Bank (formerly NAL Bank) has evolved from the nation’s pre-eminent investment banking institution to a fully-fledged commercial bank; and completed a merger with 4 other banks – Indo-Nigeria Merchant Bank, Magnum Trust Bank, NBM Bank and Trust Bank of Africa – as part of the 2006 consolidation of the Nigerian banking industry.
Sterling bank form A can be processed in a period of 2 weeks and above, plus they offer a very good rate.
Providus bank
Providus Bank is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria as a commercial bank. This means they are authorized to provide banking services to individuals and businesses.
Providus bank is said to be very fast at processing form A, it can take as quickly as a day or more to complete.
Globus bank
Globus Bank Limited was incorporated as a limited liability company on March 6, 2019. The company is duly licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria to provide commercial banking services to the Nigerian public.
