Is transaction reference/reference number the same as session ID?
The transaction reference is not the same as the session ID in some cases. Usually you will find the session ID and transaction reference number written in the transaction details of a particular transaction.
However, there are times, when you might not find the session ID, but you will see the reference number. In this case, the reference number can be used in place of the session ID.
But usually, you will get the session ID written differently from the transaction reference number. You will be able to get the session ID and transaction reference on the receipt generated for the transaction.
The receipt can be found in the mobile app and also in the email address linked to your bank account.
For further clarification, you can always contact your bank customer care.
