Ecobank transfer issues

If you transferred money to someone and the person is yet to receive it after a while or if someone sent money to you and you are yet to receive it, then there are a few things you need to know.

If you are the one who sent the money, you should ask the beneficiary to check their bank account balance to see if the money has reflected on it, and if you are the beneficiary, then you should check your bank account to see if the money is there.

Sometimes, the transaction will go through but the SMS or email alert is delayed and not sent immediately.

If the money has not reflected, then you need to wait for at least 48 hours to see if the money is reversed or if it has finally gone through.

If after waiting for 48 hours your money has not been reversed and the recipient is yet to receive it, then you will need to contact customer care or visit the closest ecobank branch, as this might have been a network issue.

If you are having trouble using the Ecobank USSD, then you need to make sure that you are fully registered for USSD banking.

Also check If you have service on your phone to make sure the problem is not from your network service provider.

If nothing seems to work, then there might be a problem with the ecobank network, which you will need to contact the customer service in order to confirm.

You can try using other methods like using the mobile app to complete your transaction.
