How to transfer funds/money from GTbank domiciliary account?

The following are the ways you can transfer from GTbank domiciliary account:

Internet banking

To transfer money from your GTbank domiciliary account, you will need to login to your internet banking account. If you don’t already have an account, then you will need to register.

After logging in to the GTbank internet banking portal, you will need to follow the below instructions:

  1. Scroll down to FX transactions
  2. Select any from the option
  3. If you are transfer to another GTbank domiciliary account, then select “FX transfer to any GTbank A/C”, otherwise, select to other banks
  4. Click on Add new beneficiary
  5. Input the required details like the NUBAN, amount, the purpose, secret question etc.
  6. After completing the above, submit and authorize the transaction.

Bank branch

You can also transfer from your domiciliary account by visiting the nearest GTbank branch and requesting to the deposit form.

You will then have to fill in all the required details including the amount that you are transferring, then submit back to the staff, who will process it, and your bank account will be debited of the amount and credited to the beneficiary.

Transfer fees

A fee of $10 + 0.5% of the amount sent is the fee that is usually charged on such transfers. As for the limit, it is always changing, so you may have to contact the GTbank customer care and ask for the current limit.

Requirements to open GTbank domiciliary account?

The following are the things you will need to open a GTbank domiciliary account:

  • A valid ID Card: voters card, driver’s license, national identification card, or international passport is required.
  • Fill and sign the domiciliary account opening form.
  • One recent passport photograph is required.
  • A recent copy of the utility bill, i.e., Nepa bills not less than 3 months, is required.
  • BVN is required
  • Two references’ signature with a GTBank current account is required.
  • The minimum opening balance for the account is $50.
