How to transfer money from GTbank to other banks?

USSD

To transfer money to other banks with the GTbank USSD code 737, you will need to follow the below instructions:

  1. Dial the USSD code from the phone number linked with your GTbank account
  2. Dial the USSD *737*2*Amount*Accountnumber#
  3. Input the number of the displayed banks on your screen
  4. Input your USSD transfer PIN
  5. Click on SEND

For example, if you are sending 2000 naira to the fidelity bank account 012345678, then you will have to dial *737*2*2000*012345678# and follow the on-screen prompts.

To transfer to another GTbank account, you will have to dial *737*1*Amount*Accountnumber# and input your USSD transfer PIN, then SEND.

Mobile app

To transfer to another bank account with the GTbank mobile app, you will have to follow the below instructions:

  1. Login to the GTbank mobile app with your user ID and password
  2. Click on Transfer
  3. Click on NEW beneficiary
  4. Input the amount
  5. Select the account you are sending from
  6. Select the bank you are sending to
  7. Input the amount you are sending
  8. Click on CONTINUE
  9. Input your four-digit PIN and send

How to check GTbank account balance?

To check your gtbank account balance, you will have to dial the USSD code *737*6# from the phone linked to your GTbank account.

Then select the check account balance option, input your four-digit PIN and your account balance will be displayed.

How to buy airtime on GTbank?

If you want to buy airtime on your phone, all you have to do is follow the below instructions:

  1. Dial the USSD code *737*Amount#
  2. Input your password

For example, if you are buying airtime of 300 naira, then you will have to dial *737*300# and input your Pin.

If you are buying airtime for another person, you will have to dial the USSD *737*Amount*Phonenumber#

For example, if you are buying 300 naira airtime for 08012345678, then you will have to dial *737*300*08012345678
