With a tier 3 account, your operating balance is unlimited and you can receive and send any amount of money that you want.

Requirements to upgrade my First bank account

In other to upgrade your First bank account you will need to go with the following documents:

1. Your ID, which can be your international passport, voter’s card, national ID card or driver’s license.
2. Last 3 months’ utility bill which can be NEPA bill (electricity bill), rent bill or any other bill.
3. A passport
4. A duly signed from which is issued by the bank.

How to upgrade your first bank account?

Once you have all the above requirements, you should walk into the nearest first bank branch and head straight to the customer service department and tell them you want to upgrade your first bank account.

They will ask if you have the above requirements before they will issue you a form to fill. This form will require details like your bank verification number (BVN), email address, home address, account number, phone number and many more.

Make sure you provide all the details correctly then submit the form back to the department alongside the requirements.

Your request will be processed and your bank account will be upgraded in not more than 24 hours.
