Is UBA having network problems?

If you are having troubles logging in to the UBA app or carrying out transactions like transfer, checking account balance etc. then you need to make sure everything is OK on you end, by checking your mobile data/Wi-Fi connection and making sure it is working fine.

If everything is fine on your end, and you still can’t complete transactions, then you will have to use some other means like USSD, internet banking or LEO to complete your transaction.

It is very likely that first bank is having server issues or probably too many people are currently logged in to the app. The only thing you can do is to hold on and try at a later time.

USSD

You might be having problem with USSD, then you should check if you have service on your phone. If it is all good on your end, then all you can do is hold on and try at a later time.

You should try using some other means like the mobile app, LEO and internet banking.

Internet banking

As for internet banking, if you are having problems, make sure everything is ok on your end, then you can hold on and try again later, if you are still having issues.

Transfer

If you sent someone money or someone sent you money and it has not reflected, it is possible that the network is delaying the transaction. The only thing you can do is wait for at least 24 hours, then you can visit the nearest bank branch to resolve the issue.

It is also possible that first bank is going through a systems upgrade and as such, many of their services might not function as normal.

Usually if UBA is going through a system upgrade, they will issue a statement via email to their customers, so they will make preparations ahead of time.
