PalmPay unlike Opay has not partnered with any international payment platform to allow you receive payments internationally.

This means that for now, you cannot yet receive dollars on your PalmPay account, this doesn’t mean that you cannot receive dollar payment in Nigeria, as there are numerous ways for you to receive dollars in Nigeria.

How to receive dollar Payment in Nigeria?

There are different ways you can receive dollar payment in Nigeria, some of them are as follows:

International money operators

There are operators that allow you to receive dollar payment, even without needing to open an account. WesternUnion, Moneygram are just some examples of International money operators that allow you to receive dollar in Nigeria without needing to open an account.

Once the sender deposits the money through WesternUnion or Moneygram, all you have to do is walk into their offices and provide the details sent to you by the sender, and your money will be given to you.

Wire transfer

You can also receive wire transfer directly to your bank account in Nigeria. You can either receive the money in your naira bank account or a domiciliary account.

If the money is sent to your naira bank account, the money will be converted to its equivalent in naira before it is deposited on your bank account.

If the money is sent to your domiciliary account, you will be able to withdraw the dollars and exchange it for naira at any bureau de change operator.

How to register on PalmPay?

• Setting up a PalmPay app is fast and easy
• After downloading the PalmPay App from the Google Play or iOS App Store;
• Launch the PalmPay App
• Tap ‘Sign up / Login PalmPay’ on the bottom on the screen.
• Tap ‘Sign up’
• If prompted to ‘Allow PalmPay to access this device’s location?’, tap ‘Allow’.
• Enter your ‘Mobile number’ and friend ‘Invitation code’ if you have one.
• Tap ‘Agree & Next’.
• You will receive a one-time password (OTP) shortly.
• Enter the OTP.
• You will be prompted to set your 4-digit PIN, and enter in your desired pin twice and you have registered.
