When you close your gtbank account, you will no longer have access to USSD, mobile app, internet banking and all the other Gtbank services.

To close your gtbank account, you will need to fill the account closure form and write a letter stating the reason why you want to close your bank account. You will have to visit the nearest gtbank branch to request for this form.

The Gtbank officials will not easily let you close your bank account without a good enough reason, and if it is something they can easily resolve, they will let you know.

For now, there is no way to close your GTBANK account online, however you can contact the GTBANK customer care and request for your account to be closed, but in my experience you will be asked to visit the nearest GTBANK branch.
