• Adding money to an account with a card too often in a short time, like six times or more in ten minutes.

• Moving money to an account from a card with details that don’t match the account name.

• Adding money to an account with a card issued in a country that doesn’t match the account owner’s current location.
• Signing into an unknown device

How to unlock Kuda bank account?

If your account was locked because you signed in from an unknown device, then you can unlock it by following the below:

• Open the App
• Select More
• Select Account Details and scroll down
• Select Remove Restriction and enter your 4-digit Transaction PIN

Otherwise you will need to contact the Kuda bank customer care and they will let you know why your account was locked.

If it is just a verification issue, then they will ask you to provide the required documents, so your kuda account can be unlocked.

If it is as a result of suspicious activity, then you will need to clear up the issue by following the instructions given to you by the Kuda bank customer support.

Once you provide the needed information, then your Kuda bank account will be unlocked.

According to the Kuda bank official website “Usually, we’ll send you a message with specific instructions along the lines of “Call us or send an email.”

If you follow those instructions, we’ll talk through what led to your account being blocked and let you know the information we need to unblock your account.

In some special cases, we may have to report to the Central Bank. At this point, unblocking an account is no longer up to us.”
