Reasons for the error “You currently do not have access to this service (please contact your bank for further assistance)”?

1. You can only use a bank USSD if your phone number is registered with your bank account. i.e. if you are dialing the USSD code from a phone number that is not linked with your bank account, then you might get this prompt.
2. Registering a USSD banking might require a fee of about 20 naira or more, so you should make sure you have about 20 naira in your account balance before you proceed
3. Another reason for this error might be as a result of network issues. Your bank might currently be having network issues, so you will have to wait and try at a later time

Summary

You can contact your bank customer via any of the channels and make a complain about your current situation and they will help you resolve it in no time.

As a last resort, you can also visit the nearest bank branch and request for help with your issue.
